Anzacs win ACC 2005!

Team Anzacs are the Champions of AID Cricket Cup 2005. They restricted defending champions DCC for 29 in the allotted 8 overs. Man of the Match, Krishna of Anzacs took 4 wickets to restrict the blazing DCC to their lowest score in this tournament. Krishna also had a decent run with the bat in most games, but overall he was the bowler of the tournament with 8 wickets in the knockout games.

Ketan of SAS, Pratik of DCC and Krishnan of Triangle Titans had blazing knocks to their credit. They kept hitting boundaries with amazing flair and entertained everybody. Ketan of SAS was voted Batsman of the tournament for the maximum runs and better strike rate.

A special mention goes for team TCKIDS and all the kids for their sportsmanship and enthusiasm for cricket. TCKIDS was awarded the AID Junior Championship. Arjun was given the trophy as a representative of all the kids since he was on the field at 11 PM.

Thanks to all the teams for participating and showing sportive conduct. A special applause to the CVCC for coming all the way from Charlottesville and all the kids who played for the AID Kids Tournament.
