Team Anzacs are the Champions of AID Cricket Cup 2005. They restricted
defending champions DCC for 29 in the allotted 8 overs. Man of the
Match, Krishna of Anzacs took 4 wickets to restrict the blazing DCC to
their lowest score in this tournament. Krishna also had a decent run
with the bat in most games, but overall he was the bowler of the
tournament with 8 wickets in the knockout games.
Ketan of SAS, Pratik of DCC and Krishnan of Triangle Titans had blazing
knocks to their credit. They kept hitting boundaries with amazing flair
and entertained everybody. Ketan of SAS was voted Batsman of the
tournament for the maximum runs and better strike rate.
A special mention goes for team TCKIDS and all the kids for their
sportsmanship and enthusiasm for cricket. TCKIDS was awarded the AID
Junior Championship. Arjun was given the trophy as a representative of
all the kids since he was on the field at 11 PM.
